Built for the websites regulators are watching.
Sitetals is an independent compliance scanner for websites operating in EU (France · Germany) and APAC (Singapore) — built to make regulatory requirements accessible, not intimidating.
Vision & Mission
A website should be a business asset — not a liability.
The name Sitetals comes from Site + Vitals. Just as vital signs tell a doctor the health status of a patient at a glance, Sitetals tells you the compliance health of your website — instantly, clearly, and without needing a specialist to interpret the results. We believe every business in Europe should be able to answer one simple question about their website: am I compliant?
Make compliance visible before it becomes expensive.
Most businesses that fail on compliance don't fail through negligence — they fail through lack of visibility. CNIL investigations, Abmahnung letters, GDPR fines: the pattern is consistent. Sitetals gives every business the compliance picture that enterprise legal teams take for granted, without the billable hours.
Our Approach
Our checks are built directly from published regulatory guidance — CNIL decisions, German DPA requirements, official GDPR text, and enforcement case law including LG München's 2022 ruling on third-party fonts. We track what regulators actually enforce, not what sounds comprehensive in a feature list. When authorities publish new guidance or courts issue significant rulings, we review the implications and update our scanning criteria.
France, Germany and Singapore were chosen deliberately. All three have active enforcement bodies — CNIL in France, the Landesbeauftragten in Germany, and the PDPC in Singapore — with documented track records of acting on precisely the issues our scanner detects. The enforcement risk in these jurisdictions is real and current, not theoretical.
Sitetals is a compliance screening tool, not a legal auditor — and we are explicit about that distinction. Findings are presented with severity ratings and specific regulatory references so that any business owner or legal team can understand what was found, why it matters, and what needs attention. When an issue requires qualified legal advice, we say so. A tool that accurately identifies what exists is genuinely useful. A tool that overclaims its scope is not.
Principles that guide us
We track what regulators actually enforce — not what sounds impressive in a feature list.
We are clear about what technical analysis can and cannot assess. A tool that overstates its scope does harm.
Every finding we surface comes with context and next steps — not just a flag.
We have no affiliation with any regulatory authority, law firm, or compliance vendor. Our assessments are our own.
Built by someone who has spent 15 years cleaning up the cost of compliance failures.
Olivier Jobert is a French-native finance transformation and governance professional with 15 years leading large-scale programs for multinational companies across Europe and Asia — including SAP ERP transformations, SOX governance frameworks, and audit remediation at AXA Group Operations and Lockton Companies. Throughout that career, one pattern repeated consistently: businesses don't fail on compliance through negligence — they fail because they have no visibility into what they're missing. Sitetals is the answer to that problem: a tool that gives every business the clear compliance picture that enterprise legal teams take for granted, without the billable hours.
