What we do NOT use (currently)
- No analytics service (no Google Analytics, Matomo, or similar)
- No social media tracking pixels
- No Google Fonts from external CDN — all fonts are self-hosted
- No third-party tracking scripts
Note on advertising: We may add advertising (such as Google AdSense) in the future. If we do, this policy will be updated and a renewed consent mechanism will be implemented before any advertising cookies are activated.
Embedded videos (YouTube)
A few of our blog articles include videos hosted on YouTube. To protect your privacy these videos do not load automatically: each appears as a static placeholder that sends no data to YouTube or Google until you actively click it. Only when you click to play does the video load from youtube-nocookie.com (YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode), at which point YouTube/Google may set cookies on your device and receive your IP address, as described in Google's Privacy Policy. Your click is your consent to this transfer; if you do not click, no connection to YouTube or Google is made.

You can accept or refuse our cookie notice at any time. Since we only use essential cookies, refusing has no effect on site functionality — everything works identically either way.
